I have been taken to task on more than one occasion for initiating a hug. I have been told that such behavior makes women feel uncomfortable and, sometimes, threatened. Such has *never* been my intent, so these days I err on the side of caution and usually let such moments. It makes me very sad and has left me more reclusive as a result...
I have often considered moving to Europe with my lady where many aspects of society aren't so fucked up... -
